Hey Xanga!

Geez, its been so long... Do I still remember what how to use this thing?

For all of you xanga-users who have become traders like myself... I have a facebook and a myspace now and I'm going to try to figure out how to post both of those addresses.  It might take the assistance of my roommates.

Oh, yeah, so to catch you up on things, since I last posted:

  • I took off across the country for a roadtrip.  Awesome, unforgettable experience!
  • I got a new job.  A REAL job and a good one, so far as I can tell.
  • I moved out of my house with three friends, and its going wonderfully.  Four months and we haven't killed eachother yet... No joke, theyre wonderful girls and I'm so lucky.  It's so fun.
  • I have begun school again.  Its a slacker semester, which is good.  I'm catching up on EDU gen eds, and training so I can do my job better too.

Other than that, things are just day to day.  Today was a beautiful day.  Hope more of the same are ahead.  : )

I'll try to keep you posted a little more often (whoever you are).

Hey is anybody still on xanga?  It's been so long and I've heard that myspace has taken over.  London calling to the underworld.... Is anyone out there?

Speaking of London: no, I never did go to Europe. (tear)  I decided last minute that going by myself was indeed crazy.  So it never happened.  Maybe someday....  Hopefully Prince William didn't have his heart set on that carriage ride.  I do hate to be a heartbreaker.

Anyway, my life is both boring and a drama at the same time. (I know.  I am just full of contridictions, aren't I?)  I'm working borderline full-time at the cleaners, (What is full time? About 30 hrs?), but hopefully I will be scoring a job at Fidelity on campus.  Sarah and I have been apartment hunting again, but we have both agreed to wait until I see about this job.

Also, I went back to Immanuel this past Sunday night.  It has been about idk, 3 or 4 months since I stepped foot inside the building, maybe more.  I've lost track.  Most everyone was really friendly.  They all thought I was in Europe.  I think I am going to try to give it another couple of visits, maybe a Wednesday and another Sunday.  I really used to love it there.  I wish that for once I could make a new start of everything.  I guess thats awfully naive of me.

Anyway, it is a beautiful day and I can't wait to get out in it, so to anyone reading this: Go out and see the beautiful day God has created.  Look around and enjoy the View.... (Ha Ha.  Oh, nevermind.... )  Love out!*

*People say "Peace out!".  Why not "Love out!"?

So, every year my Spring Break gets taken away from me.  I work at this preschool, and they have the same schedule as Campbell County schools, which never coincides with the schedule of NKU.  So when I'm off school I have to work, and when I'm off work I have to go to school.  It never fails.  This is the third year I've had to sit at home while everyone else goes away.  Stinky, Stinky, why won't you leave me be?!  I wasn't in love with you; I just wanted a ride on your moped!

On the bright side, my film class is amazing!  We've decided to do a group project for the final, and it's going to be a class musical!  I'm so psyched!  I get to do some writing for the script and hopefully I'll be involved in two numbers:  "A Fine Romance" from Swing Time with guy from my class (it's going to be adorable!) and "One Day I'll Fly Away" from Moulin Rouge.  (I wanted to do "Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend" but I couldnt figure out where to hang the swing.)  I'm sure I'll also be in the chorus for some other numbers, but we're really still in the planning stages.  This is incredible!  A musical-lover's dream-come-true!

***Thumbs down for C.S. Lewis' science fiction books.  I couldn't even make it half-way though the first one.  He shouldve stuck to lions, witches, and wardrobes.
